Four built-in DSP spectral analysis commands:

  • fast Fourier transform - FFT
  • correlation routine

Built-in filters consist of a general finite impulse response (FIR) digital filter routine, and two special cases optimized for speed. A visual filter-design application – FGen for Windows – lets you design a digital filter and create a parameter vector for download to the onboard filter routine.

Infinite impulse response (IIR) DSP filters, available as an onboard software option with DAPtools Standard, implement these classic filter types:

  • Bessel
  • Butterworth
  • Chebyshev
  • Inverse Chebyshev
  • Elliptic
